Macy’s asked us to create a candy table for their shoe department at Washington Metro Center, DC. Women came on their lunch break to take advantage of the promotion, see the live models’ presentation, and dive into our sweet display while shopping. Stacked shoe boxes covered in fabric served as our base. We then placed jars at different heights for dimension and added cupcakes with shoe toppers for some pizzazz! I can’t say enough about the fabulous details on the shoes by Sugar High and the beautiful design cupcake wrappers by Bella Cupcake Couture.
The event was so much fun! It was hard not to shoe shop and setup the table at the same time. I know I wouldn’t have a paycheck at the end of the week if I worked in walking distance to a Macy’s.
